KOREA--REVISITED!

The winter of '50-'51 was one of the coldest recorded in Korea when  temperatures plunged to minus 40 degrees.  The only people who remember that are those who were there and a few historians.  MacArthur had the war won by October after pushing the North Korean invaders back to the Yalu River when the UN called a halt.  It did not take the Chinese long to take advantage of that decision and they swarmed across the border and  forced the retreat through the "Frozen Chosin".
North Korea was led then by the Grandfather of Kim Jong Un, the "Rocket man" with his finger on the button.  He must know that the U.S. Navy has ONE Submarine with more fire power than his whole arsenal.
The errors in judgement are not all one sided.  Japan was defeated by the United States forces, no one else, and we should have had the spoils of victory: ALL of Japan and ALL of Korea.  But Russia was allowed to join the war against Japan just days before She surrendered and Manchuria and Northern half of  Korea were given to Stalin.  It cost us dearly five years later with some 54,000 casualties and 8,000 more never accounted for.  No Peace Treaty was ever signed!........Medicineman!
