HEADS I WIN---TAILS I LOSE!

In just a few weeks I will be going to the polls ( yes I will vote), and I will make my choice between a candidate who has been in some form of government job all her life.  One who has never held a real, every day, punch a clock, earn a paycheck type of job.  Has always been into the Tax-payer's pocket book or trading political favors for big bucks.  One who has been caught in so many lies that no body is counting any more.  Or I can pull the lever for a loud mouth pop-off,vulgar, uncouth, "in your face" type who just cannot ignore a chance to make some rude comment.
So what am I to do?
What I am doing is thinking about the U.S. Supreme Court, that third branch of our Republic, the one charged with adjudicating those cases that come before the bench.  Adjudicating them according to the confines of the U.S. Constitution.  I find this to be a very sobering thought when I realize that the next President will be making two or three, maybe more, appointments to that court.  He/She will also be appointing many Federal Judges while in office. 
I cannot escape my responsibility as a citizen who believes in the stability of the only successful Republic in modern history. I WILL CHOOSE!...................Medicineman!

OPERATION MARKET GARDEN---NO GARDEN PARTY!

On September 17, 1944, Operation Market Garden was set in motion.  Four and a half months after D-Day, British Field Marshal Montgomery launched Operation Market Garden with 30,000 airborne troops dropping into Holland.  The object was to capture the bridges over Dutch waterways to give allied troops access to Germany. 
Surprised at first German troops quickly recovered and launched a very effective counter attack resulting in a failed mission and 17,200 allied casualties.  Germany suffered 9,500 total casualties. 
The movie "A Bridge Too Far" was based on this battle........Medicineman!

BOTTOM LINE!

Donald Trump is an arrogant loud mouth.  He is also "in your face" with some of his answers.  Mostly to the (Hillary) Press.  He angers people when he talks, not because of what he says but how he says it.  Trump is not a likable person.  BUT!  keep in mind this;  the next president will appoint at least two supreme court judges and maybe three.  NOW WHO DO YOU WANT TO MAKE THOSE APPOINTMENTS?............Medicineman!

GUN OWNERS-----LISTEN UP!

Liberal Demos, from the President on down, have endorsed Hillary Clinton for President.  That is a fact, undisputed. and one of the reasons for that endorsement is her big plans to take American's guns. Did you get that?  She wants your guns.  Period!
Hillary runs around the country spouting numbers and statistics that are all false or misleading, and she knows it.  An example:  "33,000 people a year" are killed by gun violence. According to social scientist, Dr.. John Lott, 21,334 of those are gun suicides, 586 accidental gun deaths, and 3,000 justifiable homicides with the actual 8,214  murders involving armed violent criminals.
That's all the 80 mill gun owners in this country need to know!........Medicineman!

"SEE THE USA IN YOUR CHEVROLET" (Dinah Shore)

You may remember just a few years ago, during Obama's first term, the coining of the term,"Too big to fail."  At that time, with much hoopla and fan-fare our leader handed over $80,000,000,000 (that's billion) tax-payer's money to General Motors so they could stay in business and NOT FAIL.
Now we learn that GM has moved to China, and 7 out of ten Chevys are built in CHINA!  YOUR TAX DOLLAR AT WORK FOLKS! .......Medicineman.

WAR'S OVER (1945)

On August 14, 1945 Japan agreed to Unconditional Surrender and World War II came to an end.  But this happened only after "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima and "Fat Man" on Nagasaki three days later on the 9th.  These two atomic bombs, devastating as the were, did less damage than the "fire-bombing" of Tokyo where more people lost their lives. 
The occupation and rebuilding began the formation of the Japan we know today.  The United States and Russia shared in the occupation government because during the last days of the war Russia was allowed to take Manchuria with all her heavy industry.  Russia turned it over to Mao and his Red Army which the U.S. faced five years later in Korea..........Medicineman!

PURPLE HEART DAY---AUGUST 7

April 7 marked Purple Heart Day!   Everyone connects the Purple Heart Medal with the wounded warrior, but you may not know, "The Rest of The Story."
The medal was designed and issued for the first time during the Revolutionary War.  And, at that time it was awarded for acts of courageous behavior in the face of the enemy............Medicineman!
