TRADE LATE NIGHTS IN BARS FOR MORNINGS IN THE GYM

Noah Galloway lost his left leg and arm in the blast of an IED.  His recovery made it's way through the swamps of despair and self pity until one day he realized he was needed.
The love of his three children helped persuade Galloway to trade late nights in the bars for early mornings in the gym.
"I am the first thing my two boys see as a man and that's what they are going to become when they grow up, whether they like it or not.  I have to remind myself of that, and if I am not being a good person they won't grow up to be good men.  And my little girl: I am what she sees in what a man should be.  If I am not being a good man, that's who she is going to find one day, so I have to be constantly showing her what a good man does so she can find that one day herself."....Medicineman!

DO WE NO LONGER CARE?

He is still in the fight.  Trying to stay in the US Army that is, after 11 years of honorable service, and the the award of the Bronze Star.
It seems that back in 2011 SFC Charles Martland confronted an Afghan Policeman, and struck him, for sexually assaulting and sodomizing a local young boy and beating his mother when she tried to stop him.  Then laughing about it.  Did he do it? Yes.  Did he do it for a good reason?  I think so but the US Army did not and want to can him, a decorated Green Beret.  This country has lost her mind.
John McHugh, Secy of the Army has given him a 60 day reprieve to file his appeal......Medicineman!

ANOTHER TRAGEDY---ANOTHER CRISIS---LET'S NOT WASTE IT!

Another Campus shooting with innocent lives suddenly snuffed out by one individual who is tired of testing his skill by just punching holes in paper targets so his warped mind leads him to human targets.  However, he did not choose to test his skill against another armed target--oh no, that would be dangerous.....to him.  So he goes to a place where he is assured that NO ONE IS ARMED!  Less chance of him getting shot at.  Of coarse, in the latest mass murder, he stayed too long. 

But just think how different it could have been if his victims had been armed as well.  But, the signs say: "GUN FREE ZONE."  An invitation to murder.  In the 140 plus school shootings recorded all posted that sign, "GUN FREE ZONE."  WHY CAN'T WE LEARN SOMETHING FROM THAT?    It seems that even the Campus Cop was unarmed; might as well call him the good humor man.

Now, of coarse, Obama again calls for more checks, more laws (that won't be enforced either) and more guff for the citizen.  Why is it always an inanimate object that is the criminal?  If a man stabs his wife to death he gets blamed for her death.  Not the knife.  Recently in this state a man ran over his girl friend with his car and he was arrested for that.  Not the car.  Seems fair!....Medicineman!

THE LOVE OF A WOMAN

Few experiences in this life can measure up to the word "Wonderful", or "Beautiful", or "Fulfilling"'.  But the love of a good woman is one that can and does.  That is not to say that life is a bed of roses.  No, it is not intended to be Utopia.  That comes after this life.  But the truth is that none of us could live a worthwhile and meaningful life if there were no bumps in the road now and then.

I had the love of a woman such as I describe for 64years.  She left this world as she had come into it, confident and unafraid.  In those 64 years this help-mate never wavered from her devotion to God and family.  When ever I had the urge to try something new (however foolish it may be) she led the charge.  When a move was proposed, she started packing.  She followed me half way around the world while pregnant and with a toddler in hand and never a whimper.  The ups and downs of this life never changed her spirit and demeanor.  The love of this beautiful woman produced beautiful children, both inside and out.  Her raising of our children was "Old School", firm but fair.  The results are evident in every one of them.  She left a trail of friends thousands of miles long and wrote wonderful words of encouragement to each one from time to time.  Her favorite passage of scripture was 1Thessalonians 5:11---Encourage One Another!
 And that, my friend, is the love of a woman......Medicineman!

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF!

At the end of World War II there were thousands of communists in our government.  After all during the war Russia was our ally and involved in our OSS and State Department among other agencies.  Though many were weeded out in the ensuing years, by the time the Korean conflict started we still.had many in key places.
Today our Government is filled with a different enemy, Muslims.  The closest advisers to Obama are Muslim.  They are in the CIA as well as the State Dept.  They attend our most sensitive meetings and are privy to all kinds of restricted material.
Is the rest of Official Washington silent on this subject because of "PC", Political Correctness and we have come to point where we must not offend anyone, even our enemies?.... Medicineman!

As Lincoln Put It....

Just shortly before a bullet ended President Lincoln's life he spoke these words: ......"With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan---to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations".
The Veterans Administration needs to memorize Lincoln's second Inaugural Address!....Medicineman!

YOUR CLIMATE,MY CLIMATE AND OBAMA'S CLIMATE

I am sure that Obama thinks he has the FACTS on the climate but how about some REAL facts?  Does he realize that there are hundreds of volcanoes erupting around the world and each one spews ash and CO2 in huge amounts and we cannot control that?  Does he even stop to consider that one eruption of one volcano will counteract the efforts of the last few years that we feeble humans have tried?  I feel sure that someone has pointed this out to him to no avail.  He is Hell-bent on this course and will not be dissuaded by facts.
The fact is that CO2 is necessary for the growth of all plants and trees.  These, in turn, convert it to O2, Oxygen,  which all living things must have in great abundance.  You and I would be in dire straits without CO2!.....Medicineman!
